Graveyards are holy. They house the bodies of our Dead. It's where we will have our final resting place. The place to connect with our ancestors and own mortality. I find myself coming here to meditate in the stillness and silence. If there is a place of Power in town, this would be it. It's a doorway between worlds. Requiem in Pace. +++ 💀Always respect the Dead.

To meditate and pray in the cemetery alone, waiting to be "noticed" and instructed by the powers that I know are watching me there. This is my way to develop spirit partnerships for instruction. Be careful, those that wish to do this method. The key is respect. I knock at the gates when entering. I leave a perishable "gift" or offering. I thank the spirits when I leave. If nothing else happens, I have a peaceful place to ponder death.

Last time I visited a cemetery, it was a curious experience. I had visited this one lots of times before, but never felt anything. This cemetery is not as old as the ones in Europe and other parts of the world, but about 300 years old is not a short period of time either, just like the church beside it. Earlier it was common to bury the dead inside churches and this last visit left me the sensation of a dense energy all around the cemetery, but surprisingly inside the church as well. At first I didn't understand why the energy inside the church was dense. It was more powerful and reverent than outside, but that dense nature intrigued me. Some time later I realized that was due to the dead buried inside it. I have this perspective about leaving "perishable gifts" to spirits as a kind of association with them. I practice salomonic magic to evoke the regent angels in the seven sephirots, with a system which is a mix of Clavicula Salomonis, Trithemius, some segulot and psalms... anyway, I have this understanding about offerings to spirits as an act of idolatry. Well, the cabalists do not offer anything to spirits, but only to God. As I practice a system based mostly on jewish tradition I find it right not to offer anything even to angels in order to keep myself as far as I can from being covered by qliphots. I understand that spirits of the dead or unborn spirits, closer to mankind in many ways, have some influence on men, suggesting them to feed the lower aspects of duality. Not because they're absolute evil, at least not all of them. Maybe because they also lost their way in this polarity. But when the Magician aligns his will to God's Will, he invokes God's Divine Presence to unite him and tame his evil nature, being able to be attended by any kind of spirit. Choosing another modus operandi, like for example, offering stuff to spirits or worshiping them, the magician may find material results, but this direct association will bring him to that egregore permanently, since he enters this corresponding state of vibration. I'm not dictating any rules here and far from me to offend anyone, just explaining my point of view. Of course a lot of people will disagree, specially those who don't practice the same as me or do not share the same beliefs, but that's ok. We live and we learn. So far I have learned this: everyone has this endless inner need to fulfill and satisfy their desires because we search satisfaction in perishable stuff. Each one will find his own path, even taking decisions that lead through longer ways, but always taking to the most certain destiny: when life ceases its glow also ceases all illusions. Neverthless completeness is available getting closer to The Source of All Life, the Creator and Giver of Life, The Absolute Truth. I know I may sound like some kind of preacher, but ironically Magic led me to that conclusion.

@@Taliesin_McKnight yeah, climbing the tree of life through the middle pillar is probably the most healthy spiritual way to reach Daat. Maybe eventually I might learn more about that.
