It is not the authorities to wakes each of its citizens must reduce their water use stop bathing roads and balconies first I have seen many who washes the roads in front of their house and use tones of water in the early morning hours to wash their house porch stop doing that and secondly, plant trees stop cutting trees from house permises and roads plant more trees to prevent water crisis and pollution.

Its already done. All apartments have RWH. All houses on plots 2400 sq ft and above have RWH. All new constructions after 2010 on plots below 2400 sq ft plots are having RWH. None of these will resolve water crisis. Demand is much higher than supply. Only solution is to stop expansion of Bengaluru.

Water conservation in whole of India is the need of hour. Rampant destruction of jungles forests and animal habitats will have a drastic impact on ecological system and environment of India. At some point India will probably realize that it needed more forests and conservation activities. Stop promoting useless and environmentally harmful school science projects such as wind solar and hydrogen and end illegal mining and building activities. India must focus and pay more attention of its forests, water and environment in general.

How many of us have responsibility in utilising water same as money?? How many of us stood with farmers and locals when they protested to not release water to TN?? How many of us took responsibility of nature and to preserve it. Now the proble comes to our home, yeah blame the authorities. Authorities are what they are. Its not a surprise for people of India. But We the people of Bengaluru are equally responsible for the crisis we are facing today. When farmers doesn't have water to grow crops and they protest. We tag them as goons, Now what???

When you break nature's rule obviously this will happen. I mean people complain about not having good drainage system in city areas when water floods do happen. But they conveniently forget one of its the reason is concrete everywhere. Nature has it's own drainage system. through tree roots and soil. Everyone wants to put lavish granite or concrete area around their houses, societies instead of grass, trees or open soil. Show off is going to cost much more damage to you. groundwater levels are also important which are slowly going to be less in near future due to this poured concretes on soil everywhere. Rainwater harvesting is pretty much important. No one wants to do that. Rainwater is causing damage during rainy season due to flooding since its percolation process has been stopped due to concrete. Most portion of that water goes through drainage as a waste instead of goind down through soil as a groundwater. But yeah logon ko sab government ne karana chahiye (I don't care which party govt is there). Log apani jhooti shan aur shaukat ke gulam hain. Phir yeh toh bhugatana padega hi. This is just a start. Yeah if strict rules will not be made by govt to force people to do necessary things at this point. Next generation is going to suffer a big and no one... no one can save you. Plus people want all FREE FREE. I don't know but how can people behave stupidly and believe on FREE things. There is nothing free in this life. Not even your breath is free. You have to exchange CO2 by taking O2. Even nature has not given anything free to you. How can any politician give anything FREE to you? Nonsense. Somehow you have to pay a price for that supposedly 'FREE' thing in other way round. But bottom-line is you are going to pay definitely. How much money you own, You can't bring another earth for you and your children. Stop being delusional.

Bengaluru should be well taken care of by all governments.. Be it Center or State. This city is a jewel of India. The entire global world knows Bengaluru more than any other place. The contribution of City to nurture IT and other enterprises cannot be forgotten... However, offlate, in the name of diversification, there is deliberate attempt going on make the city suffer from basic and critical infrastructure.. Irrespective of which party is ruling, both center and state should give priority to key needs of its people.. They themselves will take care of growth and tax contributions.. Even if Govt spends huge money, they cannot create another Bengaluru in any other part..
