When I was a Child. I made a card for my mother on Mothers day and then I gave her very happily. Then She said "Card dene say kch nahi hota beta , kartootay b achi honi chahiay" It qas just like someone slaped on my face. From that day I never made Card for her not even for my father.

Hello shashank it is very distressing to read about what you are going through. my dear friend do you have a good friend/uncle or aunt or even a teacher you could speak to? Some one you trust who will help you quietly and bridge the communication gap and difficulty you have in reaching out to your parents? Please know this for a fact there is always light at the end of the tunnel. And that there is no problem that cannot be solved. Have you tried gently to open up with your parents. Sometimes we tend to think that parents wont understand but i am sure your mum or dad will surprise you with their understanding and maturity. Good luck May god send someone your way to help you.

@@sweety9830 Thank you so much for your concern. It's so nice hearing from someone unexpectedly. It make me feel that yes I am not alone in this world. Yes I do have very supportive uncle and aunt who have assured me. But the very big fear with me is my father. Along with generation gap, there is communication gap also. I think that he will react and won't understand my feelings. I do want that my relationship should be accepted happily by my parents. Thank you once again to have this concern for me.
