I applaud your optimism, BUT, France-India's relationship is irrelevant on the stage of world peace. Taiwan has no military relevance except as a potential victim of China's aggression. France has had no significant military power since the downfall of Napoleon. France were lucky to be on the winning side in two world wars as a result of input from the British Commonwealth for the first 3 years and America for the last 6 months of WW1 and similarly in WW2 after actually being conquered by Nazi Germany. India has done no better than maintain the status quo against Pakistan (Pakistan!) even in Kashmir and is barely holding on against China on the NE border.

@@judewarner1536 As If america 's role is significantl in creating world peace?? They funded the hizbul mujahedeen against the Soviet's and created terror groups. They supplied them arms and money. And since then we have seen rise in terror attacks! Plus United States achieved nothing after 9/11 in the name of war on terror. They have only minted money on the sufferings of millions of innocent people. Bcos that's what they are capable of doing. Also, go and read a study by American think tank Rand. It says that america might loose a war against China in the indo Pacific. So clearly I don't think america is of any help either Plus don't forget their recent messes created in Afghanistan and Ukraine. Thanks to America's notorious habit of meddling in regime changes, the world is seeing a war. Thanks to them a terror group has taken over an important country in Central Asia

@@JohnCena-hr9ku don't blame congress for everything. I would rather say angela Merkel was real reason who liked licking china and kept targeting india. They have almost 200 billion trade every year. Germany is always going to be shaky for they will be controlled by china. They are already weak by breaking ties with Russia. Germans can't upset their master china. Last year lithuania Or latvia, I'm not sure, established taiwan embassy in their country as they are independent of Chinese trade. China used their influenced and stopped German giants trading in their nation. Ultimately they surrender and asked forgiveness from china. Germans didn't stand even for European country for their love of china. Forget about India.

Good synopsis of the India and France strategic partnership. There’s perhaps one more area in which there’s a commonality and understanding: France, like India, deals with a Muslim minority and faces similar issues about “hijab” and periodic violence by radical Islamic elements, that seek to influence the Muslim community on the basis of its religious identity, rather than as citizens of the country, first and foremost. There is a similar narrative about “victimhood,” among its minority. Of course, India’s Muslim minority is much larger both in population percentage and numbers. But in fairness, it must also be said that it’s only a fringe of Muslims that are radical. Also, France is a country that doesn’t lecture India on “human rights.”

France is a reliable partner for India. Our trade should increase by ten fold within 2 years.Defence cooperation & manufacturing in India should be our first priority. About 25 years back during our visit to the largest sports chain from France Head office,it had the flags of countries from which they import items. They had the flags of 44 countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka but our Indian flag was not there. Our team had tears everyday during the stay in that campus in France due to this. Our team took that as a challenge & ensured our Country's flag hosting happen in the campus within a year. Now that sports chain is in India and import about 5 containers of goods everyday. If every Indian work like us we can achieve 20 fold trade within 2 years. I'm a Proud Indian.

India helps the European military industrial complex with big purchases: Europe helps India with greater investments and economic partnerships. Uncle Sam will require tribute from Europe and India. Collective security is very expensive these days. So is a healthy lifestyle.

Rafale cost is too costly . One shot down or accidentally crash mean 1750 core RS lost 🤣. EU countries only make relationship for selling their weapons. They don't hesitate to sanctions india. Don't forget past . This is France who gave his fighter jets to pak in 1971 war and france always stand against India in UN council. 6 times this country supported USA sanctions bill to ban India.
