My last job doing shift work , which equated to 140 hours per week - it broke me , in more ways than one , and did so , in such manner as to stuff my health up - spine & nerve damage , which cannot be prepared - no attempt to get medical help by my CEO , and was ordered out to work , "as we are short staffed " . The employer has run for cover from outset , as it was the government .

First Pay them Fair Amount according to there Work That 70 hour work Statement given by Narayan Murthy - Infosys CEO takes 80 Crore salary every month + Top Post also takes too much money Down Level Worker doesn't get fair money according to there work Work should be of there Choice not by Compulsion (Students studied after NEP implementation will have better Choices) History cannot be changed 😮‍💨 But newer generation will get benefits of it Work Environment shouldn't be Toxic - Office Politics, Taunting, etc Efforts need to be done for Employees Traveling for work Reduce Time of Traveling Provide Residence near the Work Or Provide Work near the Rural Areas - Reduce Migration This should be done by all Businesses, Government, Politicians, Citizens, Celebrities, etc

Yes total CTC difference should not be more than 10 times , government organisations follow it there Max difference is 3 times , but in many areas they beat even heavy weight private guys like ongc , iocl, NTPC , SBI etc. ongc ceo get max 1.2 cr but it brings equal profit of RIL whose CEO get 15 Cr

If employee-friendly laws enforce a fair balance of exchange of economic value between employer and employee then some additional cost to public-health-risk from additional-hours-of-work can be reasonable since such flexibility benefits both employee and employer *EQUALLY* . To genuinely ensure the equality of this balance, there need to be effective systems in place, that measure and regularly publish this metric so that there is *INCENTIVE* for employers (and even employees) to not mis-use this otherwise-dangerous-flexibility in the labor laws.

Make two 6 hour shifts...that way you will get 12 hrs of work a day. 9-4 and then 5-11.... And then change shifts every 3 months. But i dont know if this is a good idea
