South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has claimed that Saudi Arabia wants to join BRICS. He says Crown Prince MBS showed interest in joining the bloc during his recent meeting with him. Is Riyadh trying to disassociate itself from the West? Molly Gambhir reports.

I'm Canadian. I never had an issue with our neighbours to the south. We holidayed in the US all the time. The people in general are nice folks. We have always hoped to one day retire in the US as to take advantage of the nice weather and reasonable cost of living. dont take on a common currency, then you will have problems like EU is going to have. one negligent partner who upsets the currencies margins will effect all countries. nothing could be worse for countries with a large disparity between the rich and the poor, the poor will now not only have to worry about inflation from their own countries economic decisions, but they could suffer from the decisions of other countries economic decisions.
