Juvenile crime done by immigrant children is skyrocketing in Helsinki thanks to "being more welcoming".. Those who actually do want to learn the language and get a job suffer from governments utter disinterest in weeding out the underlying crime problem and instead use that lawful portion as a smoke cover. On topic: as an immigrant in California I cannot help but shake my head at how all these meaningless politics and wokeness is destroying fabric of USA inside out whereas the fundamentalist government of Taliban is equal cause of woe as are places where there is hotbed of corruption and violence. Israel seems like a strange anomaly. Thus the definer is that find a balance. Too much wokeness and too much fundamentalism is surefire recipe for distress. As for Finland, I am very curious how the opponents of Sanders-school would point out how this type of Finnish model is not feasible on a larger scale in bigger countries and as to what the rebuttal is. Everything from hyper montessiori education of Finnish to work-life balance seems to exceed other countries but I find it baffling if America is the greatest countries in the world how come we have such poor work/life balance due to corporate greed. Guess the same shoulder that helped to build this country also got their backs broken.

@@ajaychowdary8228 Yes, many of the responses are indeed "influenced by money"!!!! In the sense, that the social security nets, public funded education, parental leave, annual payed vacationtime, childcare an on and on in the countries, that rank high on this list, are making life less stressful in those countries. Also the low corruption in Governments and public life in those countries is a big part of the ranking. Also their trust in Government and eachother is a major part of this. Many, who responds to a survey like this in the Nordic countries, respond along the lines of being "content", and not "happy", in their personal lives. Because we know, there are billions of people worse off than we are!

Why would that matter? 🤨 Look at nr.5 NL, a very diverse country, lot's of different cultures living in such a small country. Appearently they are happy. They are much more tolerant towards eachother in Europe then in the U.S.

Finland's suicide rate ranking globally (2019 WHO): 38th. Following your theory the countries with the very low rates should be among the happiest, like Syria, Lebanon, Venezuela.
