in question 2nd if we use the formula of velocity i.e., v=(GM/r)^1/2 ----(i) where 'r' and 'v' =radius of earth and velocity of earth respectively now if mass of second planet is same as of earth then if velocity of second planet is V=(GM/R)^1/2-----(ii) where 'V' and 'R'=velocity and radius of second planer now as per condition V=2v i.e.,(GM/R)^1/2 =2(GM/r)^1/2 (from eq. (i)and (ii)) now V=(4GM/r)^1/2 and by comparing both sides we get, R=r/4 so according to me radius of second planet will be 0.25 times of earth. (Which is contradictory to your answer so do I am wrong???).
