The humor was on-point, the banters are witty and the story is very rewading to the audience. There's a reason why the "fandom" is still active (and keeps on making theories) up to this day even though the show ended long ago.

I think it's a good thing the creator only made 2 seasons. It really eliminates the need for filler that a lot of longer shows usually have to use, and it makes it so that the storyline is told as intended without having to drag it out

While that’s true I feel like s2 did mess up a bit with its filler. Since the RV episode should’ve been swapped for an episode exploring Pacifica and Mable’s relationship more and the RV episode is easily the worst ep of the series

Having seen the whole show, this episode hits hard as it foreshadowed quite a bit. Stan has always just wanted to be together with his family, doing whatever. That's all he wanted with his bother. And on a boat, the Stan o War. Even if it's just fishing he was really happy at the idea of being on a boat with his family. Sure, there were no adventures or babes planned, but it WAS family+boat, the main part of his dream from childhood. It hits you hard, man. It hits you hard.

Well funny you guys was talking about Rick and Morty, because the creator of Rick and Morty was in the creator team in making this show, with the creator Alex Hirsch. It's thanks to this show that Rick and Morty became a show later. And both of the shows exist in the same universe. Many Easter eggs of gravity falls are found in the show.

The cyphers in Season 1 are straight-forward substitution cyphers, based on simple rules. There are three different cyphers, each of which is used for a stretch of episodes. New viewer here, funny how one of you compared this to Rick and Morty! The two shows' creators were friends in the animation school they went to (a lot of the shows creators of this era at least had some connections, learning together and all).
