I think the reason the ending to the show was so emotional for many people was that for a lot of us, we remember that era of childhood innocence and being on the cusp of growing up. At the end of the series the Pines twins had to do just that and say goodbye to their childhood and start preparing for their future. It meant they had to give up a lot and I think at the end of it all they learned a lot about life and us, being adults, relate to that. It's a sad thing but a necessary one.

I usually don't comment things, but i have to say that "Gravity falls" is such a good series, it's so deep, and has so many in it, that series is just genius, i really can't explain how much i love this series, it makes me so impresed!
