The original music was composed by Brad Breeck. This is obviously not as extensive as my Steven Universe medley, I hope you people who requested this are okay with that. I was planning to do a full medley, but in the end the amount of officially released music of the show was a bit too limited, and they aren't exactly "cover-friendly". So I decided to focus on these two tracks instead!

I think the reason the ending to the show was so emotional for many people was that for a lot of us, we remember that era of childhood innocence and being on the cusp of growing up. At the end of the series the Pines twins had to do just that and say goodbye to their childhood and start preparing for their future. It meant they had to give up a lot and I think at the end of it all they learned a lot about life and us, being adults, relate to that. It's a sad thing but a necessary one.

hey. i just wanted to thank you so much. i’ve been playing piano for 8 or 9ish years now. for most of those years i had a teacher who didn’t believe in me. i’d bring her pieces i wanted to play from a variety of difficulties and she always would say that i wasn’t “good enough” and to “stick to our lesson books.” so a few years ago i quit. i wanted to give up piano entirely. then i found your channel, and specifically this piece. i printed it off and tried to teach myself, but didn’t get very far. my mom found a new teacher and i was a little wary but willing. our first meeting i brought a bunch of stuff. my books, stuff i’d taught myself, and this piece. i showed her the books first, and she could tell i wasn’t happy with them. she asked me, “well, what do YOU want to play?” and i pulled out the sheet music. i was expecting her to say “too difficult” but instead she said “alright! you can totally do this. let’s start.” everyone else in my life wasn’t sure if i could do it, saying that the piece was out of my range (i was in middle school at the time and i have incredibly tiny hands) so i just went for it out of spite. i ended up playing it in a recital, and got so many compliments and a few people asking for the sheet music! this piece is the piece i consider my “turning point.” nothing has ever been the same. currently i’m working on prelude in c sharp minor by rachmaninoff, which is a piece my teacher only gives to students who she thinks can handle it and the two students of hers that have attempted it never finished, and i’m almost done with it!!! so in the end, thank you for doing what you do. you gave me the inspiration to keep going with piano, and i would have never gotten where i am without finding this video.
