I might be white but I work with African American in a jail setting as well as white pple an 😮wow u have taught me many things as I set up all night taking notes for my ladies. My little African women deal with there hair being so dry that her twisted hair fell off they can order coco sticks an I supply as much as possible as a Cristian volunteer . I appritiate ur pride an hard work in wat u do. I'm working on more funds threw the community .I really do the best that I can. Crystal, I'm not in the Chat, but I have always done all my relaxing and coloring at home, myself. I only relax, to thin my roots. They become too thick, with the new growth. I have NEVER had any problems. You're a great stylist, so I'm not taking anything away from the stylists and their expertise. However, it has always worked for me, so I just do it myself. Thanks.

Her hair is really Pretty, but for me, myself I hate curls! I prefer body. I have long hair, that is a mixture of White, Gray, Silver and Black. I have had 5 inches of new growth, at one time. To each his own, though. I always say, live and let live! Beautiful job, Crystal!

Crystal thanks for input about values we possess. I would love to have a professional cosmetologist in my hometown that does hair like you do. They are amateurs hair care people and they want to charge top dollar for service, but they are nothing like you. The waiting time for me (past experience) was 8 hours. All day???!!! Had 9am appointment and left the salon 8 hours later. People came in after me and were waited on and their friends dropped by for retouches and were taken immediately.

Asking what her diet is like is very valid actually, and you should know that! 🤔 For some people, it's HEREDITARY, some have SEVERE SCALP CONDITIONS due to their diet or MEDICATION and some people have found that due to their HEALTHY DIET or general life style, their hair quality has improved ie Going to the gym and sweating, eating lots of Kale and Spinach; which promotes hair growth, fish for Omega 3, drinking plenty of water for hydration and fresh fruit and veg; which promotes healthy skin; including that on the scalp and lastly ensuring they get a goodnight sleep. All the above helped me regrow my hair. I went from bald to neck length hair! So DO BELIVE THE HYPE! 😅💇‍♀🙆🤷‍♀

Great live. Crystal I have a question about self care. I was seeing a hairstylist once every month for 6 years. My stylist started taking advantage of me and was collecting money while mistreating my hair. She would yank, cut, pull and do terrible things to my hair so I stopped going to her for a month now. Should I find another stylist?

I work for a stylist who is very tough with clients hair. I have been noticing that her clients hair isn’t growing and look damaged. Whenever I would shampoo, she would say I’m not rough enough but I get about 10-20 bucks in tips per client because I’m gentle but firm with their hair. I’m glad that you have said this because I’m afraid to tell her about what her clients are saying. I just keep doing me and let her do her.
