First off. Remember to have fun with your hair. If it doesn't match perfectly that's ok.
Color Codes for Wigs. The lower the number the darker the color.
1 = Black and 60 = White with tons of shades in between.
If new to buying wigs. Ask the manufacturer for a color sample. PaulaYoung.com does this for free. Some places charge a few dollars. Better to spend $5 than pay $100 for something you don't like. Or visit a wig store or beauty supply store. All wigs and extensions follow the same basic color number with slight differences.

34 = "Pepper Corn" Dark Brown w/ 5% White
36 = "Starry Night" Medium Dark Brown w/ 5% White
38 = 25% Gray with 75% Light Ash Brown
44 = "Salt & Pepper" 50% Gray 50% Brown/Black
47/48 = "Ashen Gray" About 65% Gray and 30% Brown, 5% Black
48 = "Apple Strudel" 75% White w/ 25% light natural golden brown
51 = 75% Gray, 25% Brown/Black
51/60/101 = "Pearl Gray" 75% Gray, 10% White, 10% Platinum, 5%Brown/Black
54= "Vanilla Mousse" 75% Light Gray w/ 25% med blonde
56 = "Soft Pewter" 90% Gray, 10% Brown/Black
60 = Pure White with Blue Tone (maybe 2% of Brown/Black for depth)
60B = Pure White with Warm Tone (maybe 2% Platinum Blonde/Brown)
F56#1B=Dark Rooted Soft Pewter
SF51/60 = "Silvery Moon" 75% Gray with 15% White and 10 Brown/Black
100 = Platinum
101 = Platinum Ash w/Beige Highlights
17/101 = Light Ash Brown w/ Platinum Ash Highlights
280 = Off Black w/ 5% Gray
Blondes:
16 = Honey Blonde
22 = Light Blonde
100 = Platinum
101 = Platinum Beige

Well, there are many different types of "salt and pepper" hair colors. Some will even tell you if there is a percentage of each color. Do your best with a color chart to match your own hair, then search for reviews of that color code to get what a full wig may look like in the color.

Glad it was helpful! I haven't tried a 60B or Beige White colored wig before. Interestingly I'm not seeing many videos on youtube with that color. It is often just a plain 60 which is a paler more cool toned white. 60B is Beige white or a more natural warm toned white. You can try ordering a color swatch or visit a wig store in person.

Thank you for your answer. I sure would like to see that 60B color because not all women want that rather shocking blue-white. My family grays with a rather beigy/white, and I was hoping to get a wig that looked like that.

On the Paula young site you can search and type in the color number or color name and find all wigs in a particular number.

I've got my volume turned all the way up to 100% and can barely hear you. Thank goodness for closed captioning. I don't know if it's your microphone or you're sitting too far from it, but the sound quality is terrible on this video.

Sorry about that, you are right it is a quiet video. Try turning the volume up on the video within youtube in the bottom left and then also on the computer you are using which is usually bottom right of your monitor. I can't edit it once it is uploaded.
