The game really isn't perfect, but at the same time the developers are striving to make one of the best games in its genre and I can say that in this update they have taken a significant step forward. @LugovoisesGames ha no probs, the letterbox is the black bands across the top and bottom and you can have different ratios. General cinema is 2.35 to 1 or 2.35:1. I've been using this on my vids but couldn't tell if yours was different.

3:41 He kills you by hip-firing while running and as soon as he comes into view. So the didn't fix the aimbot enemy AI at all. Dang. That's the only fix I was hoping for to be honest. All the other changes are cool and everything, but if you're sniping from far away and the enemy can still spin around and hit you right away from super far away then what's the point? If the enemies can see you through walls and foliage and shoot you without needing to see you then I won't be playing this game again until they fix it. IMO it's the most frustrating part of this game. I don't mind being killed in one shot, but when enemies are still totally unrealistic with instant aimbot precision from a distance then I'm going to wait for a later update and hope they fix it.

Came here to type exactly this. Played a few hours at launch and quit after spending a frustratingly long time sneaking slowly across the map only getting insta-dropped by AI with no possible line of site shooting me through 50 yards of dense foliage about 5 times in a row. This game stays uninstalled until they downgrade their ridiculous aimbot AI. If I want the experience of dying constantly to aimbot and wall hacks I'll just go play regular Tarkov.

I think they “updated” the AI for this patch by adding a delay before they instantly lock on to you and their accuracy is slightly degraded, but not for all the AI in a given area. What I’ve noticed is there’s maybe a 1-2 second delay after you aim or look at them before they start shooting. There’s still a few Ai In every area that is basically a Terminator cyborg, you will die randomly through dense cover in which the AI shouldn’t know you’re there.

I put 180 hours too much into the game. One thing I noticed is they only get you if stand still so strafing past them saves you. The AI is still shit and they added a new durability mechanic to guns no one is talking about. Your gun is a consumable that you can’t repair. Good luck looting one off an enemy because the second they die its durability is halved. Why run good loot if it will just break down?

So on the fence on this one, Its something that I have wanted for a long time, a more Tactical PVE shooter or PVPVE if you choose. It brings me back to the Ravenshield Athena sword days, but watching AI just stand there when you blast a NPC standing next to them just holds me back. I have enjoyed Ghost Recon Breakpoint a lot and The Division franchise but I was hoping this would be it. And maybe it will be.

In fact, the AI is very inconsistent here. Sometimes they kill you with a single shot without even turning round to look at you. Sometimes they don't see you at point-blank range and just stand there. But that was early access. The developers promised that on the release of the update on 27th November this will be significantly improved. We'll see...

Played this for a few hours today and crashed for the first time within the first hour and had a ton of issues right away! Enemy’s teleporting next to me, terrible bullet physics and hit reg, (had to shoot a guy 11 times in his head while firing in between a wooded beam on a porch) had a ton of problems with the different bullet damage changes especially on shotgun slugs and with the mp5 at medium range, I find the Ai still 1 tap headshot you through bushes (less at night) and also they got rid of being able to use FSR frame generation unless you have a 40 series card so I now am getting 55 avg frames when just yesterday I was around 125 avg so it’s a mess atm I was disappointed 😔

I really like this game but I play only PVE, i prefer more the GR Breakpoint style with coop but more serious gameplay. Right now, I’m trying to learn back muscle memory from 15+ years ago of using mouse & keyboard in Stalker 2. Unlearning my years of console play back to PC is rough! 😂

@@chadmackie I think there are M&K training videos to help you start slow and build up that muscle memory. Its quite tough to just jump in and play. PubG iis PVP so that's even more pressure. hence why I started with a PVE game.

ive played 80 hours of it solely on the basis that its addicting in the case that its high intensity, high risk, high reward, the AI before the update were glitchy in movement, idk how they are after because this game gives me ptsd, just random gunfire, you cant pause either, u either have to find an extraction or hide in a area and pray the Ai enemies dont "sense" your presence from 100 yrds away LOL. They need to make alot of changes but if they do make those changes, this game could be extremely good. Also getting 1 tapped randomly from an AI enemy isnt great. Its a game, they made it extremely realistic like the Ai have minds of their own and know how to headshot with 100% precision

If you still enjoyed the core game or what it stands for .. how about you just keep it for a while and let them continue to polish it? I mean it legit says pre alpha on the load screen ffs…. But regarding optimization I can agree as well, our 3070’s 8gb of VRAM simply can’t handle realistic texture on UE5 bro, I’m struggling the same but their community lead legit sat down and helped solve my crashing issues.. its simply optimization/FPS improvements required now in terms of performance and then the obvious GPU upgrade required for future UE5 games

problem with this game - npc do not react to light beside them - npc start shooting you like a solid wood stand there (in real life, people get cover first) - npc in this game just like common npc, do not provide much realistic movement
