Goldy had big time viewership many years ago and then focused on Twitch streaming, resulting in his youtube channel being twitch clips and somewhat neglected. The algorithm has kind of screwed Goldy these days. Still a great content creator, and a true OG!

@@ryanharris7295 I love how fans don't like to acknowledge the reality of whats going on and pass off this "focused on twitch" line when his twitch numbers fell off massively too. Ultimately he got to his peak with a few viral clips of him raging or playing with other successful streamers like Nanners, he then made a change in his content to try and do things with his group of irl friends rather than streamer friends most of whom people find either boring or obnoxious. That started his decline, he then started to try and make everything about being clipped and going viral so his content just became him going crazy at everything making people feel he was just being fake, while at the same time posting the same type of content of the same yearly releases (MLB, NBA, Gears etc) that became boring when it's the same content year on year. After that he had the whole "emotional cheating" drama incident with Fem that reminded people that he did a similar thing with Ally who alot of people liked and have never really gelled with Fem so that basically killed what was left of his audience never really recovering after that point. Then it's become a "we didn't pay attention to the channel enough" excuse when the views have been low enough for long enough that he can't really pay people to edit for him anymore so thats now "him taking control of the channel again" even though his content is mostly unchanged. The algorithm doesn't screw him, his channel is basically over even with his fans, he literally posted a DayZ video and update on the channel video that did 80k odd views and people saying yeah they're buying back in...for the next video they didn't bother and it's back to 5k because nobody actually cares to watch anymore.
