It’s amazing to hear about the work and development going into this game. My buddy recommended it to me and I’ve been hooked on it since. Most of the time I struggle finding videos on this level but I’m glad I stumbled across this. The community is unique as I find more players willing to work together and help each other regardless of faction, rank, or gear(mostly PvE). In Warfare, well…. just watch your back. But Thank you for being the eyes and ears for us as this game goes through development and testing, it’s nice to see what is in store for us. I keep track of some of the bugs I encounter from time to time, is there a way to relay that information to developers?

The AI should have been good from the start and now that they have 40+ million from sales, they should be hiring more people to code and test the game and it really is that simple. Early access is about refining, not players testing if the game works or not.

@@FPSBoomer I got one more for you. I see other games do a similar wipe concept, but in most cases its like a new season but you keep some gear. Is there any benefits to the wipe for us players or is it a genuine start from scratch. I wasn’t around during the last wipe. Could you explain this a little more?

They should add other extraction types than just a Little Bird flying in. A convoy extract, boat extract, single vehicle extract. AI driven and non AI driven. Up armored vics, un armored pickups, atv type vehicle or like a Polaris Razr, dingy, Rhib. Heavier duty extracts with money and reputation, and that includes bigger airborne extracts. Bigger aircraft.

Outstanding information Boomer! My hope with this next update is we get a few more things to loot. With the current state of all loot having no “value” it’s only going to be PvP focused which isn’t a bad thing but could turn players that like to build wealth away for longer. However, I can’t wait to see the sunset over Lemang!

They want to instill gear fear and part of that is finding great loot that you have to stress about to return to base with. They details more loot, better loot and "treasure," which I interpreted as high-tier loot.

Great video Boomer. Love how the updates every 6 months was broken down into section that made sense for the consumer/player. Night sounds GREAT. Hoping the ambience really sets in w/ it as described. Being able to shoot lights sounds dope. Reminds me of my splinter cell days. Weapon & armor repair will make gear be more valuable. Looking forward to this for sure. Need to feel like I have a reason to do things rather than “just questing”. Heli changes are great. Glad they are improving upon what’s already present as I like the system & having to wait… just not for a LONG time lol. Weather is going to be sick. Glad it actually affects the map & the player rather than just being cosmetic. Rogue faction sounds cool. Can’t wait for a more in depth dive on what this means & will be. Skills sound great. Having a character that develops according to your play style & not feel like you HAVE to deviate from your play style to progress will be nice.

They haven't detailed much about their anti-cheat efforts because they don't want cheat companies to know about their measures. But they do have an anti-cheat and they use machine learning to bolster those efforts. In all my time in the game (I think 130+ hours) I only once ran into a person who I suspected might be cheating, but without a kill cam I couldn't be sure.

One thing I wish would improve in the next patch is how your fps is cut in half when you scope in. I wish it was more like tarkov where you dont get any fps impact from scoping in and it feels really smooth

Updates seem few and far between. Are the new features for each update spread out over time or do they release as one update? Could run the risk of grounding out if players are waiting a year for new content, especially when the market for these games is hotter than it has ever been. If the updates are compelling enough then maybe it will be okay but that remains to be seen.

I'm glad that they have promising content planned. Was getting skeptical with the lack of updates they were providing. However, I understand that it takes time to make an update worthwhile. I hope it doesn't take the route Tarkov took, regarding the updates and longevity of the game state. i.e. Alpha and beta versions. That game has been accessible for 8 years and still isn't fully released; even with all of the "DLC" they've charged extra for. Despite my opinion on BSG's delivery, I was pleasantly surprised when I first played GZW.

That's a totally fair take. There are so many good games out there, especially in the FPS space right now, that you should make smart choices. I love GZW and I think the masses will, too, once it's further into development. Just keep an eye on it and hop in when it looks like you'll enjoy it.

Sorry but my experience with PC gaming says they won’t optimize for build that are unplayable, at best they will give some 5 extra FPS for those beats builds

I have a Ryzen 5900 and 3070. On DLSS, I get about 60 FPS and with FSR I get about 110-120 FPS. Have you tried all the various settings configs to see what works best with your system? Is your Windows up-to-date? Are you on the latest NVIDIA drivers? You can also watch some YT videos about the Nvidia Control Panel to find the best settings there, as well.

This game is great - I'm on the last mission and have died a few times, but I will finish it! As is, I don't even really have any big issues with the game but any new content will be better. I would like AI to have super bases, guarded by hundreds of AI and heavy machine guns etc. It will then force us to team up in groups of +20 to take them on.

I've put in that request, too. Would love that. They say there are no current plans for "human-controlled" ground vehicles but that kind of opens the door for AI-controlled ground vehicles. That's my take on that, though, and not based on anything they've said directly.

They didn't have much data to go on when they balanced guns and armor. But now that the game has been out a while, they can retool based on the analytics. Mara didn't specifically mention this so I'm saying this generally: I would expect guns and armor to be continually balanced. I would assume some of that work will be included in the update later this year.

I've been playing a lot of "early access" and alpha/beta games. The path from alpha/beta to full release usually takes more time and is more complicated than first anticipated. I've bought Grey Zone, but haven't installed it yet, simply because I'm tired of playing so many unfinished games. Watching some of the interviews from Madfinger Games gives me some confidence that this game will turn out pretty good if we give it time. At least it's not an AAA publisher pushing a game they claim is finished.

You might install it and give it a go. I got about 130 hours of entertainment from it already. And the upcoming update is going to add a lot of new gameplay.

@@FPSBoomer I have no doubt, but after years of playing games like star citizen, rust, Valheim, dayz, satisfactory, sea of thieves etc. from early development it might be nice to actually wait a bit 😅 also I'm looking to upgrade or build a new pc this winter. 1080TI still going strong, but it's time to get some new hardware

Glad to hear they have a plan but frankly besides the optimization the priority needs to be the helo deployment fixes. No one wants to spend 5 or 10 minutes per deployment waiting on helos. Simple improvements need to be happening NOW! My gaming time is limited and I've spent as much as 25% (at times) of it waiting on helos. This will continue to drive players away regardless of content drops! 1) the helo needs to disappear within 10 seconds after dropoff not fly to the edge of the map. 2) routes need to be more direct. 3) you need to be able to cancel a call for helo if you die or catch another ride. 4) If you call for extraction and a helo is on the way to your LZ it should pick you up! 5) Unlimited fuel. No reason for delays between helos of more than 10-20 seconds.

@@thorsmith59 We'll have to wait and see if their implementation works or not. I agree folks shouldn't have to wait a long time to get out in the field or back to base. Some of that wait adds tension (like a Tarkov extract timer) but too many people have to wait too long, and that kills immersion and wastes time. I'm with you. I think they'll figure it out, though.

I had the info when the others did. But a few days after that meeting, we had a massive storm where I live and it knocked out power for a week. So I couldn't make my video. When power returned, Delta Force dropped and then shortly after Arena Breakout. I didn't want to publish this video then because I didn't think it'd do well. So, I waited for Games Con. And here we are 👍

@@kelza7384 It’s permanent 😂 I was talking with a friend and I used the expression gamers use to detail that they dispatched of a fake video game opponent with one piece of ammunition and someone reported it. The system X uses relies on AI or they don’t read appeals. I know because I explained myself in multiple appeals - that the expression pertained to in-game actions and is used regularly in gaming when detailing how much ammunition a player used to erase a video game opponent - and even once just asked for a case number, and all I got was the same one paragraph default response. But it could be a blessing in disguise. I can just start “Tweeting” on KZbin and grow here. Enough about me. How are you doing? Gaming again?

Dude I love this game as of right now, it’s a dayz replacement for me without the benefits of zombies and base building but that’s okay. I would bet by 2026 this game will be one of the hottest games on the market and I hope at some point they do end up putting in zombies and base building to create a survival. I know it’s not in their agenda due to servers not being able to be individually joined but that would be awesome. I cannot wait for this next update. This game is not getting old yet even though it is at its basic state. I’m so exited for the future of this game!!!

i dont understand why they add Day/night cycle before they fix heli waiting times and Ai shit..i mean the AI shoot through bushes without seeing me on day i can imagine how this will end at night. and i only download the game again if they found a solution for the waiting simulator problem

Day-night is just one piece of the update (the headliner for the update). They're also fixing heli wait times and AI in that same update + adding loot and high-tier loot, new POIs, new tools and guns + a bunch more. Should be good.

One thing I hate is how devs these days indirectly force people to team-play. It's very prevalent across many games. Many people like to play lone-wolf and independently. There should be perks and rewards for such a gameplay as well, not punishment.

@@DrBrunoDzogovic I’m mainly a solos player and have probably spent the overwhelming majority as a solo in this game. While it’s tougher, it’s very much doable. A lot of people play this game solo - which was a surprise to these devs. They’re having to adjust the heli system because of it.

It seems like a really weird decision to add weapon durability and weapon repairing separate. In my opinion, they really should have those things released alongside one another, because otherwise you're just kind of punishing players for using their weapon, with the only solution being to spend money, versus having the option to field repair.

I had the same thought. But with a small team, I think they're forced to make tough decisions and they must not have had time to fit the repairing system in with 0.2.

@@FPSBoomer That's understandable, I don't know how complicated it would be to just delay weapon durability until 0.2. but if that's doable, that's what I would do if I were them. I feel that people wouldn't have a problem with that, as 0.1's main focus is going to be on the day/night cycle anyways.

I think if your gonna do the whole gun degradation thing do it right like only certain things go bad on guns like barrels are about it and they can do gas tubes and bolts on AR’s but barrels should have at least a 25,000 round count before the first sign of degradation or maybe implement a cleaning kit that ya use from time to time at the base camp and then still have the 25,000 round count on the barrel. Plz don’t make this game a hassle to play.

This game when it comes to graphics/ gunplay is far superior to tarkov. With that said, the only thing holding it back is the lack of content. Tarkov has been out longer so of course it has more content/ loot. Once grey zone gets more content, I can see it over taking tarkov.
