I do hope you enjoy this video, it took a lot longer then I thought it would. Also thank you very much for all of your support I can not believe that I have reached 1800 subscribers! It truly blows my mind! I mean I started this channel out of mere boredom, I just did editing as something to pass the time, but to think that this many people are out there watching and enjoying my videos, it brings tears to my eyes. You all make me so happy thank you, truly.
Now a little bit about the video! So if you don't want to read this part thats okay But you should know that I got the inspiration for this video from the amazing Keyinei, and their video called Flowers for the Brain. It is one of my favorite videos and Key is one of my favorite editors. Also, I wasn't originally going to post this video, cause I didn't think it was going anywhere. Well after a few bored nights of messing around and doing whatever I started looking at this thing and realizing that DAMN something is coming out of this. So I continued to work my ass off and trying to make everything look good. Now yes there are parts of it I'm like "shoot that looks gross, thats a repeat, crap does that even work" but I thought I should just brush it off and upload it cause I think I would start to hate the project if I let myself nit pick at everything.
Anyway, the video is mostly suppose to be in the eyes of Balto with the mix of other characters in there. Yes I know it's a little dark with all the deaths and what not but it worked with the song and the story. I know I'm a bad person.

This is amazing and it's ridiculous. Why am I being so freaking emotional about this goddamnit. The story is fascinating. I love how you gave everyone a legit character. Like it's just 5 mins and I can't stop feeling sorry for Todd and Kenai. Dude that means something because I'm not usually this emotionally invested in crossovers and such. Those masks are goals btw. I'm in love with how clever you made the scene with Koda woow. And the part with Vixie's death? I'm RUINED. Anyway, I just wanted to say that this gave me legit chills. I'm not crying you're crying

No words of mine could come close to how impressive this was! I loved how you put everything in Balto's eyes of him observing the dangers of the woods. How he helped them all. How he helped Tod stunned me. At first I thought he wasn't going to put him out of his misery. But your mind is a wonder! How did you get this idea?! Gosh the maskings, voiceovers, the clips all made it look like they're living together. At the part where Koda was hiding it looked so real! fdlhjjghkfdjshgsdkfghdkfsg kdfjgdflghlsdjgh In short words I'm in amazement. Neat job!!!

Woah. That's all thats coming to my mind at the moment... just WOAH. This is honestly one of the best crossovers I've ever seen. First of all your manips were all flawless, you really made it look like all of the animals were living in the same forest! I loved how the story is from Balto's perspective, and how at first he's just silently observing the other animals' lives, but then when he sees the damage Copper and Slade have done he decides to help them. And all the voiceovers just add the perfect touch! It made it seem so REAL. Also at the end where Bambi gets Copper to follow him, and how its flashing back and forth between Balto coming to their rescue and the other animals deciding to fight back as well... my god its just perfection! I adored this video and I hope you're very proud of it! Congrats on all your subs, you really deserve them!

This is why you're one of my favorite editors! I love your usage of mostly black and white and to put all these forest animals' from different films into one setting and make a stunning story out of it is really really eye-popping.Flowers For My Brain and this are officially my two favorite animash/crossover videos of all time. What an amazing video! Very impressive how you added the balto maskings and scenes! They fit very very well and everything seems very well put together. I like the story and the scene choices. The part where Balto killed Todd out of empathy was really heartbreaking for me :/ Congrats to you because of all those subscribers! 1800 are a lot of people.

This was so well done, just the raw emotion alone was incredible. The storyline was so original yet easy to follow, which although I love Flowers for the Brain, it doesn't have that easy to follow quality, heh ^^; But I just loved the voiceovers you used, and all the masks were perfect. I think one of my favorite parts in this would have to be 2:22-2:46 because the scenes of Balto you used for it were so perfect, and the manip of the gun and of Vixey was so legit! Also, I love how you used the scene of Koda at 1:47 and put it in the same scene, it looked so real! This entire thing was just flawless. I love how it doesn't need any fancy effects or transitions because it's just so powerful already. This is truly a gem

+Keyinei okay better late than never!! so I could've sworn I'd already left my comment on this, but I guess not. first off obviously I was hella excited to see that my crossover helped inspire this, I definitely love the story you spun, and how you set up a far clearer first-person perspective than mine - I looove the fact that Balto is such a vessel for the viewer in this story. I like how it's never clear how or why he came upon the trouble in the woods: did he once live there and travel away, only to return to destruction? was he a wanderer? what exactly was he doing that led him here? it's all really foggy and vague which just feels A+ perfect for the story and mood and song. Balto's lonesomeness set against these other characters with their relationships to their parents/partners/siblings is also melancholy and poignant as fuck. he's just this lone dude who somehow comes across others' suffering and has so many good reasons not to do much other than watch but still goes up against the baddie somehow, because he's the only one who can - he doesn't have younger, weaker loved ones to protect and he's not totally broken and shit by loss like Todd. I cannot get over how perfect the song choice is too - the story perfectly fits that mounting, marching, ominous build-up, with several storylines all intersecting and ultimately colliding into the finale. and what a finale that was. clearly a story that was planned along with the build up of the song, which honestly is something I'd aim to do with every future possible crossover, tbh, because that's the kind of shit that takes Good to Awesome. ahh. great job Gray

oh my gosh?? this is so good! the scene from 0:19 - 0:22 was soooo believable. another scene that really impressed me was the bit between 1:55 and 2:02. simply put, this whole video looks verrry clean and i can tell you put a lot of effort into it! something like this takes a hell of a lot of patience, and i applaud you for that. i think this goes w/o saying, but i LOVE this video. one of my new faves.
