Grays Peak Attempt - May 17, 2014

After work on Friday, I hiked 3 miles to the Summer TH of Grays Peak. I set up camp and finished dinner around 8PM. My goal was to summit Grays Peak bright and early on Saturday. I left camp at 4:30AM on Saturday and hiked to 12,400' before I was stopped by strong winds and poor visibility. I waited for the sun to come out and watched a beautiful sunrise on a beautiful, Colorado day before heading back to camp.
