Nedoxu The Musou attack alone isn't enough to make me care for the scimitar version of Gan Ning though, personally i had more fun using the flail version. We can't all have what we want though it's like how i hate what they did with Guan Ping where they took away the cleaver he used to use with one hand and gave him a heavy 2handed sword essentially making him into Fu Xi thus losing all trace of his origional moveset which was way better.

It should have been a picture of Zhang Liao. He destroyed Wu at the Battle of He Fei. Gan Ning probably is my fav from Wu but i hate how they made him look like a fruit in DW6. He was badass with his bells, headband, no shirt, and his sword, Sea Master.

I remember when I played He Fei first time, this song made me panic when Zhang Liao suddenly appeared and started to chase Sun Quan and I didnt have horse... :D

The Wu soldiers are amazed by Zhang Liao's strength ... The Wu soldiers are in awe of Zhang Liao's strength ... The Wu soldiers are afraid of Zhang Liao's strength ... ... Xu Huang arrived, then Cao Cao and then Cao Ren. An epic 800 vs 100000 battle where strategy and might are all combined.

In real life it actually dragged onto something of a stalemate with Wu eventually retreating. There wasn't much of a winner per se although Wei did hold on to He Fei. There were actually five battles of Hei Fei over a 45 year period. Liao only took part in the second battle which was from August 215 to 217.

+Tuong Thai I think I'm one of the only people that like his moveset in DW8 better. It just feels good to pick your enemy and swing them around, and it's really fearsome to people as well. You're just swinging a guy with your weapon, would anyone really dare fight you? Also his running special was really hard to hit with, though I think it's a really cool move (lots of enemies? No problem, I'll just run through them!).

In 214/15, during the He Fei campaign, Zhang Liao made his mark on history the way any historical badass did in ancient times: he took all of his most die-hard troops and led them into battle against Sun Quan's forces, despite being outnumbered about 7 Wei soldiers to 100 Wu soldiers, and seized victory from impossible odds. The regions of Wu would commemorate this feat by telling their children the tale of the ferocious demon of Wei whose immeasurable testosterone and dapper as fuck facial hair would scare kids shitless and out of their tears at the mere mention of his name. And I have this series to thank for introducing me to him.

It's not Gan Ning's battle but I would say it's one of Sun Quan's most pivotal because that very nearly ended his whole career.
