We're checking out some My Summer Car gameplay highlights and funny moments. Following up from ep 1, we're off to do some more stress testing, most importantly getting the car running with no coolant to see if we can set it on fire by overheating. We also undo the bolts that hold the sub frame on and find a new way to die. Yes, we drink ourselves to death! I was trying to trigger the event when you pass out from drinking too much beer and well...you'll see...
Also, it's time to max out the speed of the muscle car to see just how fast it can go, and crash horribly.

ABOUT: MY SUMMER CAR:
MY SUMMER CAR is the ultimate car owning, building, fixing, tuning, maintenance AND permadeath life survival simulator. You start the game with hundreds of loose parts and assemble both car and engine. Not only you need to maintain your car, but yourself as well. Sausages, beer and sleeping will do just fine.
If everything goes well, you have a working car which you can use for various 1990's Finnish countryside summer activities. Basically doing stupid things under influence of alcohol. After you have gathered extra money from various random jobs, you can start to tune and upgrade the car with parts ordered via snail mail. You can turn the car into a obnoxious bass-boom disco machine.... or into a rally car to participate rally competitions... or just fix it into perfect factory condition. Of course car also needs to pass the inspection or you might get into trouble with police.
Not only you have access to one car, but also several other cars and vehicles which you can use. (Mostly useful to get groceries and for towing the project car from some ditch, again).
Warning, this game is not for fainted heart. Severe car fever is required to play this properly due to it's autistic approach on car building.

I am a Finn. I saw mr. Hydraulic Press Channel try out this game. I thought it looked hilarious and decided to look up more about it. Many people had tested out this game, but noone did it to it's full potential. Then I found your channel. You already had like 4 episodes, and I figured, since you had more than one episode, that you actually liked the game, and in 4 episodes you would have had to show more than the other ones I found with one episode á 15 minutes. I love this game cause it's a great comedy of life, with just enough realism to allow for hilarious situations, beautifully complimented by ethnic self-satire and parody. And on top of all that, your commentary comes to tie them all together. And I think kerbal space program would have a great run as a series as well, as it similarly creates hilarious situations through a touch of realism

16:30 I first found this game from some random video I watched. It must have been a short one because I ended up looking up play throughs. I got into the game through a KZbinr called Jeff Favignano, but he just started his series. He left his last video in the series on a huge cliffhanger and it was super entertaining. I needed to see more, so I searched for it on here and I saw that you were far more advanced than he was and decided to click on your first episode in the search results. Why My Summer Car and this channel? I think of all the YT LPers, GrayStillPlays best captured the spirit of the game, both in play and commentary. A Finn living abroad I miss the simple life of Finnish country side that this game so well depicts I got interested in the game. As I was unable to play the game myself, I was just looking for some footage of it to ease my homesickness and found your channel.
