@@hnrmrymr476 The rock caused so much trouble because the stop sticks took away all his momentum. Going backwards through it would have kept momentum rather than it being from a standing start.

Here's a random thought - a distraction bridge. Gray needs to get across a very narrow bridge, and there's very few obstacles.... HOWEVER, something is always happening in the background, such as a train blowing up, which is there for the express purpose of distracting Gray and causing him to fall off said narrow bridge.

Roulette wheel to determine the car used. Idk, maybe a challenge to get the wheel to spin. The faster the challenge is complete, the more force in the spin. Another spin option could be an rpg that has to hit panels to make the car roulette wheel to spin. Sure the first 2 hits are easy, but then you have to time the RPGs.

Imagine Alex making a Which Vehicle can beat Satan's Board, with Satan standing at certain checkpoints to egg on Gray. Only none of the Vehicles Gray can pick from will win the board but instead he has to steal Satan's Vehicle. It would mess with Gray so much that the literal vehicle he would need, is parked at each checkpoint and all he would have to do is take it for himself. I think Gray would even need to go to Alex just to find out that the board is winnable.
