Hey gray I used to have a Honda crx from 1983 got it for $200 headlights didn't work unless the heater was on e-brake worked only if lights were on radio was wired through the ignition switch passenger door opened if it was locked transmission had park neutral reverse drive but no overdrive

It's either a piston or the piston rings or the the springs that thing the cylinder head under the push rods in the rocker arms or a could be a push rod in the rocker arms but other than that I don't know what like I said it could be a piston or one of the piston rings so my best guess is just take the whole cylinder head off and check under their if that's not it then check the rocker arms or push rod
