brilliant idea. You could easily (and probably cheaply) manufacture these with the help of a waterjet. I'd totally use those if I ever had to wear dress shirts again 😂
@GrazMakes7 жыл бұрын
thank you! thats a great idea! now to find a waterjet on craigslist...
@letsmakesomethingawesometo82667 жыл бұрын
Graz Makes look locally for waterjet cutting services. The last company I worked for had two waterjets the size of my current shop. The machines aren't very home/small shop friendly (until the $4k Waze desktop waterjet is released).

hmmm thats a good idea! if people like them enough maybe make a small batch...

That reminds me of my spatula recreation project. I want to make recreations of a vintage spatula that some in the online spatula community regard as the best ever made. I think this could be a big deal. Maybe a regular CNC would do the trick though.

you have no idea how much reading the line "online spatula community" made my day :-)

Great idea and video execution. You belt sander rip reminds me of my experience sanding a cookie thickness gauge for my wife.
@GrazMakes7 жыл бұрын
thank you! cookie thickness gauge?! tell me more!
@davebauerart7 жыл бұрын
Ha! It was a piece of scrap wood, 1/8 inch thick to see if we rolled out the dough about the right thickness. I bet there could be some interesting ways to make that more exciting.

Great video, great concept, loved it. I have a bit of an obsession with unusual bottle openers and I bet this is the only one of its type. I wouldn't try to wear them when going through airport security; they are not forbidden (since they are probably one of a kind and aren't dangerous) but you would have some explaining to do. :)
@GrazMakes7 жыл бұрын
funny, I had the same thought about getting through TSA! though explaining that they are bottle openers would be kind of amazing.
