Our story takes a historical look at how management of the land at Harriman State Park has evolved over time. When the Harriman family gifted the park to the state of Idaho, it became the catalyst for the formation of the Idaho State Parks system in the mid-60s.
Today, anglers and ranchers can co-exist in the park because of fencing along the Henrys Fork, good management and understanding by all parties.
