They may have had differant power structures but, the ones we had were 100 watts AM. Doesn't sound like a lot but worked fine. the only time we disliked it was when we had to turn the generator with human power, not fun at all, had to have stamina to keep it up. The reciever is next at the right side. With the correct antenna the world was your oyster. regards

@hamrite you bet, just a small spot at a time, maybe a lot with some ductwork. there was a lot of air moved through and out of the exit loovers [three red warning indicators] . that is also reversable to close if needed.

By the way, forgot to say the OA2 tubes have radio active material in them. if you have the manual check it out.

I have the transmitter, the power supply, an antenna, but no reciver.... I use it for cw in amateur radio

Do not forget to remove the tap socket of the power output tube before removing the front panel.. :)

yes I remember I broke my first one ...I can't believe I repaired these monsters when I was only 20. I could not even pick one up today.
