@@vishnuchitra7581 hey I know it's been 3 months since u have asked for explanation and u might have also found the answer now. In case if u haven't I am explaining it for you. There are nine horizontal and vertical lines in a chess board. In order to form a rectangle you need four lines and in case of chess you need to select two horizontal lines and two vertical lines. So choosing 2 lines from nine horizontal lines is 9c2 and it is the same in the case of choosing two lines from nine vertical lines. So the answer is 9c2*9c2
