Thanks for watching and for your comment! That's how I learned about it - My dad was a Union Steam-fitter for 40 years. My whole life he had only two work boots, and they were both Red Wing Slip-ons. He ALWAYS used this stuff and that's why they lasted so long. He only bought the second pair because the cobbler who used to replace his soles every few years told him that he couldn't re-sole the first pair any longer. I personally went on to work for the Government for 21 years and wore lightweight tactical boots everyday so it was just natural I would use this stuff - it really does work! Thanks again for watching and commenting....It really means a lot to me! Please don't forget to like, share and subscribe! Talk soon!

I like to condition my work boots too. I usually don't wear boots over my shoes as I like to travel light. One of the videos that I have done for my channel is "Tractor Talk With Gary's Best Buys". I show a pair of boots that I got from Cabellas. They have a unique fastening system that uses wire instead of laces. They fasten with a ratcheting system where you simply push in on the knob and turn to tighten and pull out to release. I got them when I was a volunteer firefighter for the speed and ease. Cabellas no longer carries these but Red Wing makes a shoe that has nearly the same fastening apparatus but it is a much heavier shoe and nearly double the price. Thanks for sharing Both Trac. Shoes are a very important part of the garb and a very poor place to be cutting corners.

Nice boots man! And I love your new intro.. I have some of that waterproofing for leather boots but never thought to heat it up after with a heat gun. My dad has always used the stuff too but he doesn’t know about heating them up after either. Makes sense how it will expand the leather and allow the waterproofing it get deep into the leather to protect it and keep it moist as well. Great video as always!

Thanks brother! I used that (new to me) GoPro8 for the new intro and I'm pretty happy with it. I need a suction cup clip so I can use it to talk while I drive my truck! I'll bounce back and forth between the new intro and the old one. I know this sounds cheesy but, I like those boots! 😎......I've been wearing them everyday and they're getting broken in perfectly. Thanks for watching, commenting and of course, supporting!

This is just what I need - my boots aren't keeping my feet dry anymore. How long will it last?
