Have you used a lacrosse ball resurfacer before? What did you use and how were your results?

change the abrasive pad to a thinner pad and its even easier as it contours around the ball

Thanks for the suggestion Anthony, do you have a recommendation on a "thinner pad"? I feel like this setup will work pretty well, but I can tell I'm going to wear through the pads quickly.

Yes, use it and I like it better than the Hedgehog 5 gallon bucket. It’s probably just as fast as the bucket considering the bucket you have to take off and unscrew and the process time is a little bit slower. But you also can tell how much of a surface you’re taking off the ball which you can’t tell when they’re in the bucket closed. I feel like with the gripper pad and drillbit you can see how much you’re taking off and you can get just enough off the ball to get a grip back without going too deep into the ball. Inside the bucket if you go toovlong you really start to diminish the ball.

Thanks @Chris for sharing your experience with a bucket. I've never used one but your description described my fears of that process. Totally agree this thing is perfect for gauging how much or how little you need to do. I just wasn't sure on a time comparison between the two. But you brought up great points. Thanks!

What type of drill did you use to attatch to the machine? Mine doesn’t fit

I was able to attach the bolt into a standard power drill.
