It’s just a a level of protection from surface damage and prevention of cracking over time

@@gweilojohn8550 this is true to some extent think of it like a car, miles on a car is equal to time and climate around figure with material that doesn’t last like most things in life. And just like wild vines on a building left unchecked by human hands the building with suffer damage. Nothing last forever unless it’s made of stone and well kept.

If you're good with fixing figures ( it looks like you are ) get a secondhand one that's in a sorry state at a low price and fix it up 😁 I have uploaded a couple of tutorial videos if that helps ? Wow awesome video! Was planning on selling some figures and planned on completely overhauling my display and gear it to the live action movies of Spiderman and characters! Now that we’re getting green goblin and doc oc totally getting venom/carnage/ mysterio! Quick question: should I grease my first avengers hulk figure?? I had him for years and never seen anything with him but was always confused if his skin was rubber or pvc. The grease would be nice to look like sweat especially if it does protect the material. Thank you again!

She will be shiny at first but it’s something that can double as sweat is don’t lightly and it’s not a permanent fix for the figure to pose I still practice caution with my figures. I just over pose them 😉

Thanks a lot for your advices. I am hesitant in getting this figure because I don't have a temperature controlled room, and summer gets very hot and dry there, but winter is cold, so there is a lot of temperature variation through the year. - Do you think this could prevent the rubber from cracking ? (I'm not going to give it any kind of pose ), maybe if I grease it more often than every 6 months ? - I unfortunately don't have a glass cabinet for this, so there will be dust (I try to clean it sometimes). Do you think this silicone grease might makes things worse, attracting dust ? Thanks !

I have the Threezero tmnt figures from the 2014 movie and it’s been almost 8 years since it’s release and no cracking and I don’t have a temperature control environment either. So it with work and you can use 303 wipes for the time being and then grease it up

Also with dust if you get any on the figure you can wipe it with 303 let that sit for a day then grease up if you are going to handle the figure often then go with 303
