JD your Earl Hooker cover is awesome! I play slide/ pedal steel I listen to every thing and everyone pretty much. Sacred steel and blues especially. You just really nailed it I have not heard anyone even come close . Beautiful work!

While watching and listening to that great slide playing, my eyes locked onto that old Alamo. Mine's a model 3 from 1956, with a kind of fake tweed and brown leatherette covering - not as nice as yours, as it's been dragged around a bit. But still with the same chrome drawer-pull handle. Would be great if you guys ever made it up to the Hartford, CT area sometime! Thanks for the Kirk update.

My mother met Antonioni when she was in college here in Houston at the University of St. Thomas in 1969…she worked as an assistant to the head of the art department and got to meet all kinds of amazing artists of all kinds. Have you tried the Peterson Strobo Stomp HD?! You can select true or buffered bypass and I’ve never heard any funny business through it, but your mileage may vary! I hope to convert you away from the Sonic Research!😂 Lindley is still the man…can’t go wrong with anything from him. That classic old Ric steel into the Dumble on ‘Running On Empty’ is still the benchmark of all slide tone for me. I saw him on tour with Browne back in 1989…so great!
