I hit the subscribe button! I hope you don't come to regret building a Great Alaskan in such tight quarters.

I know. It’ll be tight. I have an option to expand if absolutely necessary.

I greatly appreciate your videos, but please give us a little longer videos with more details

Thanks for the comment. I’ll see what I can do. The latest videos did a little more in depth on what I’m doing.

Be sure your caster wheels are steel/iron, not rubber - else you won't be able to move things around once you get some weight on them. I learned that the hard way when I built my Tolman Skiff.

Thanks for the tip! I looked at weight limit but now I’m wondering. I guess I should replace them.

I would definitely replace them if they are not metal. Regardless of the weight limit if they squash down just a little bit you won't be able to roll it. Even tiny metal ones about 2 in in diameter are better than the great big rubber ones. Some of the nylon ones are hard enough to work, but I wouldn't chance it with the Great Alaskan.

@@tomanderson3007 yea, I think you’re right. I looked at them again and it probably would be a problem. I hope I can find the receipt for those six casters!

@@tomanderson3007 I have purchased metal 1000 pound casters! I will install them when I have the boat hull hoisted for flipping. THanks for the comment.

Just don't use water soluble putty to fill the gaps and you'll be fine.

Hello! The drawings are copyright but the cost of the plans are ridiculously low. Here is a link. www.glacierboats.com
