Jon Berger built the 20' Tolman Alaskan skiff for Ross Perkins on the island of Yap, Micronesia. Ross then had the boat shipped over to Pohnpei island, Micronesia.

Wow...that was special for me to see. I went to those Islands back in 1985 from Honolulu Hawaii on the now decommissioned U.S. Coast Guard Cutter "Mallow" a WWII era mine layer that was being used for servicing aids to navigation. Awsome times back then. Lots of Atolls and Islands in the Pacific where visited. Now I'm an old salt "Wog/Golden Shellback" chillin on my own small boat along the East Coast. Thanks very much for sharing....Mahalo!

Hey Perkins, i have a question for you. in your video you pass a bamboo hut on the beach. i stayed in that hut for a month. my next trip i stayed at the rise dive shop just down the beach. I have been trying to get in touch with rise dive shop and Al the owner of the hotel. any chance you could help. thanks
