Well that's actually a good thing to keep the balance just like rock, paper & scissors - like all if not most builds should be viable. Having a lot of variety of builds to play makes it really fun & discourages META. This helps players be able to think more in understanding their classes not just copy the ones made by min max junkies.

I would not recommend hammer in pvp unless u are using it for a raid pvp, the weapon and skill is so slow any decent player will dodge roll out of ur skill even while they are within ur aoe range and dodge ur skill completely without breaking a sweat because the skill is so slow.

Pvp scales so you can be lower level and now worry about higher levels slaughtering you. The developers said they didn't want pvp to be dominated by those who quick grind to 50.

My advice would be to find a weapon combo u like and stick with it, higher weapon lv matters more than your main lv mainly because of the weapon passive point.

@@shadowdisciple2164 im a repear/bow player , i eat melee only players anyday lol , nothing compares to the bow mobility its insane you can have perma movement speed, + the light armor dodge cancel yea nah bro ur getting kitted by me all day everyday, even with against axe player and there bloodlust.

this is pretty much a subjective topic but for myself, i am EXTREMELY HAPPY that NW made pvp scale.... not only lower levels have a chance to survive and even kill a higher level player, everyone can get in to PVP without much pressure.... longevity wise i think this is a good sign for pvp and love it that gear only applies to PVE and not PVP.... this also would help balance out combat making PVE and PVP separate ... I am both PVE and PVP player but i like it that PVE content only stays on its side and vice versa

U be surprised how bad this combo is, people can easily dodge roll all of those CC from war hammer they are very slow and easy to spot when the skill is about to be used

PvP scales in New World. The only advantage a higher lvl player would have is more weapon skills. That is easy to overcome if the low lvl player has equal or better skill.
