Get a regular cool mist humidifier add a 1 1/2 inch clear tube(works great last longer and it’s a lot cheaper)keep humidifier above your tank so the hose doesn’t curl.That will keep moisture from building up in the tube and stopping the mist from coming out.

my baby greek tortoise that i got today didn’t eat today at first he was very shy, but got way more outgoing throughout the day, trying to climb on his log, digging holes, but he barely touched his food, im sure it’s fine because it’s his first day but i was just making sure😊

Yep my iguana started getting eye problems from the curly uvb lights. Luckily I caught it in time and ditched it right away and my little buddy was fine

Those spiral bulbs are mercury vapor, at a high wattage it's just like the sun, I grow weed too and went through a spectrum rabbit hole to find where the best light I can get. They self-ballast so if your confused on light bulbs I can help you. I can create the sun inside. My A.D.D. let me hyperfocus on that.

I love owning my Beardie. She has such an amazing personality but I do have a question. I want an opinion on her health, how do I go about finding a vet that will check up on her? I have never owned a reptile in my life so I'm really just winging how I take care of her based on videos. *Kamp Kenan* I'd be afraid to raise turtles that are use to extreme heat. Cause than I'd not know how to regulate their body temp when the winter comes. Right now,my ear sliders are enjoying their wet damp climate :)

You shouldn't givd your tortoises friends, they gdt stressed if they are housed together they don't need or want friends.

I have 6 baby cicada tortoises I recently bought new mulch from Petco and noticed one of the babies had a tick stuck to it after removing the tick it's been five six days and the baby is not doing so good doesn't eat or drink water barely moves I'm soaking him almost everyday to keep him hydrated is there anything else I can do please get back.

We took our Russian Tortoise out for some fresh air yesterday and she's now lost. We looked for hours and can't find her. My kiddo is distraught and I don't know where else to look for her. Jaylyn wood probably something smaller that you can make an indoor tortoise table like a Testudo like a Russian Greek or hermmans although I’m guessing your climate is similar to mine in Washington over in New Jersey

I got my hatchling leopard tortoise from a breeder at an exhibit about 2 years ago and he has not grown at all he still fits in the palm of my hand but he eats so much food I grow my own vegetables and he will eat so much he just will not grow he will turn 2 in 3 1/2 weeks I just want to know how to get him to grow I also have three Sulcata tortoises and I got them about a year ago and they already way around 10 pounds

At last Testudo Kleinmanni (Egyotians) I have kept these for many years and they are great By the way, they are extinct in Egypt and can only be found in Libya in reasonably good numbers but the greatest threat is collections in the wild and smuggling them to Egypt to be sold to tourists as Egyptian tortoises, so in reality they are Libyan tortoises :)

Just came home yesterday and found my 2 year old tortoise flipped its water dish. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I caught it just in time it was still alive and sqwerming! Changed out the dish immediately! The previous one wasn’t even that deep but someone got itself stuck and flipped! Thought about this video right away.
