ALWAYS! Beautiful to watch them play.

2 things I did not expect to see in a ball movement compilation: 1. a Knicks possession beginning with a Carmelo post-up. 2. a Celtics possession in which Rondo finishes the play.

Warriors and Spurs move the ball more which improves team motivation and spirit hence every players feels like they are part of the play

GS bandwagon has people thinking that ball movement is a new thing. The Spurs have done this for 20 years....

Jalen Davis Back when they had Duncan and Robinson, the Spurs’ offense was stagnant as hell.
@duanedoldrum75705 жыл бұрын
Melvin “Big Smoke” Harris That so-called stagnant offense then shouldn't result to being contenders and of course a championship.

@@bricebridges3814 literally who ever said it was a new thing
@dwighthoward87544 жыл бұрын
@@duanedoldrum7570 It was late 90's and early 2000's, you could be a contender with a stagnant offense at that time. They were basically just overpowering other teams on the inside. And yes, it was a really stagnant offense, based on low-post actions, and it was far from the fun and beautiful offense they've developed between 2008-9 and 2015. (The greatness of Popovich is to have evolved his offensive systems to fit his new key players, no more Robinson, an aging Duncan but prime Manu and Tony, then Kawhi, Diaw etc... and the 3 pointers era.)
@dwighthoward87544 жыл бұрын
And Bird celtics were already doing that in the 80's. It's just that Warriors brought it to another level, statiscically and visually. Building on what Celtics and Spurs brought to the game. And in the decades to come, we'll see a team with even better ball and player movement. And that's great !

Most Championship teams ball movement, less dribble and moving without the ball seems to be the biggest factor... When MJ started winning those championships, he most definitely dribbled less, and played far less isolation games as he did when losing to the Pistons and earlier part of his career
