Honestly this game sucks .. it’s a reskin of madden which we all called before it dropped. I literally played one game last night. Bro, literally got so many video caps of this game not functioning, and I only played ONE GAME! The CPUs offense even froze to the point of getting a delay of game, the TE got stuck in a motion animation, but couldn’t move. Smh another money grab by EA. If yall think Madden is gonna be any better lmao you’re literally the definition of insane ..

Offensive lineman are taught to block inside out. That outside rusher should have been the free man, not the a gap blitzing backer.

The issue is the creator doesn't know what protection scheme his opponent is calling on this play. No defending this game but it has tools that show you who is blocking who before the snap. What he should have done is call the same Blitz in practice mode and show that if his opponent had told his line what protection scheme was needed for this play things might have been better. Instead he says it's not the players responsibility to know the protection scheme it's the game that should know... seriously 🤔🤔

@@BKOYO it’s not though the defense doesn’t need to know what the offense is gonna do on 4th and 2 so they just send 6 there is nothing telling you he’s sending six there’s nothing telling you what six or where the six is coming from you’re just guessing so it wouldn’t hurt that the cpu can instantly pick up a free blitzing defender before just doubling the dt it’s not our job to tell the oline that guy is gonna be your target even if you ID it the block may never come

I took the time to build my O-line to have 4 stars on it. 3 of them have ratings above 90 and the other two are at 88. Yet as an 89 overall team I am struggling to run on Fresno St. An 81 overall team. With a 4 star elite dev 95 speed RB. I legit had to rage quit playing them twice. Don't get me started on trying to run screens.

The slide protection isnt to make them "snap into there original job" its for when your getting blitzed like how you did theres a hat on a hat... you sent 6 to there 5 and the guard had to choose who to picc up... o-linemen are taught to take furtherest inside but he got beat off the line (which happens)... in the users case he if he recognize blitz and did a half slide he would have bought enough time to get the ball out to his hot... which is pretty realistic

Ur forgetting the running back has an assignment too he’s responsible for the edge rushers depending where the lineman slide. What I was taught the lineman take care of the interior as you stated and we would slide to the qb weak side to prevent a blindside hit. The center should’ve at least accounted for the linebacker/lineman that came screaming in the a gap and the guard would take account for who the center is blocking in the clip. Only time I can see defensive players run free in the a gap is when they run stunts but no stunts running in the clip it should’ve been hat on hat I get players do get beat off the ball but at that level it doesn’t mean they just get a free path to the qb. I feel as a player that the ai specifically the center should be smart enough to make the calls to determine who we would block because that how it was when I was playing. No shade to you I just don’t see it as realistic for a defensive player run free in the a gap when the center could’ve easily picked him up. It’s just another time EA has failed to properly program o lineman to act when seeing a blitz.

@Kyle-mp8rg HB'S only chip if assigned to... as far as the blitz there's things you have to account for... 1. the 2 MLB'S pressing the A gap could be showing and dropping once the ball is snapped which is why the animation isnt suppose to be him jus automatically bloccing in the first place because it can jus be a bluff to get a free rush from the 3 tech 2. Once the ball is snapped the MLB has a speed advantage off the ball compounded with the fact that presnap the LOS was overwhelmed which and the blitz forced him to picc a someone and he chosed wrong... this situation would have literally been solved if he would have slide his line (which give us full control of what happens in the game) and yall are complaining because you want the AI to do it for you automatically (which doesn't give you full control of the game) I played QB up to college and this is honestly something you would see on Saturdays and Sundays if you dont believe me go to the nfl site and watch the all 22 of games or ask a college athlete if you can use there hudl

This is why I refuse to play this game online. With blocking and over powered spin moves/juke moves there is no way in hell. I do think on this play the user who was controller offense could’ve prevented that A gap blitz. The game forces you to use slide protections. Even though slide protection works because it positions your OL in the correct place, the OL can’t block if their life depended on it. I play dynasty with sliders.

Actually you need to know your protection schemes. You come out in a play and the play has base protection if the defense is in mid-blitz like you were its my responsibility to know what l need my linemen to do not the computer. I have to ID mike my RB to get the edge... then slide my line to the left so we do not have the protection call from the original play. Some play have double team logic built-in you have to consider and slide left would hv canceled the that double allowing the interior rush to get through. So try that in practice mode. It is the users responsibility to understand line protect not the CPU.... the tools are there you can see your protection scheme before the ball is snapped

It doesn’t matter because it’s still animation based. I use FSU and I promise, no blocking scheme will stop Payton from getting constant pressure on your qb. I literally just outrun the blocking animation because he’s too fast. It’s the Frostbite engine and EA developers simply aren’t that good

It’s not realistic u don’t know football. 9 times out of 10 offensive linemen would not allowed blitzes to come in from the A gap because that’s the closest gap to the qb. Offensive linemen do make mistakes but in the game we have full control over our linemen blocking assignments. If it happens to u would have so many complaints 😭

@@ssgssvegeta1181 in what world does the o line allow a blitzing lineman or linebacker run free in the a gap. The only time really is if a d line runs a stunt. There was no stunt in this clip. Any o line coach and o lineman are taught and know that when the defense is bringing heat you always account for the interior first. Especially when they’re right in your fucking face. In the clip the mf just run right in. We shouldn’t have to call it the o line should know it already. The o line are also taught to slide the qb weak side and the running back will account for the any edge rushers. It’s bad blocking logic and that end day. Maybe play on the oline and you’d understand.
