On this one I got 18 correct. I would fall into two categories: the improving one and also the one for non UK residents. I did get some of the road signs since we have very similar ones here in the USA. We actually had a very similar show to catchphrase back in the 80s early 90s called classic concentration which was hosted by the late Alex Trebek

I only got 18. I was in the one for non UK and improvement. I did ok in round 2 and 4, plus the connection. Not so much the others. I enjoyed it, though. Never hurts to learn anything new. It's a fun channel. I'm really enjoying it!

I got 42...8 in the road signs round which I thought was good for a non driver...but none in the Number Ones in the decades...and got the Connection after the first question...so a really mixed bag for me tonight. And congratulations on yet another great quiz...

The most likely place where you will see the road sign banning the carrying of explosives is before a tunnel, sometimes not at the tunnel entrance but at a junction before it.

Dartford Tunnel for the forbidden 'explosions'

In Australia, loads with explosives, dangerous goods etc have a rear placard, so our sign wouldread "no placarded loads". Usually at the entrance to tunnels.

But it has a cathedral and I thought that made it a city. Certainly at one time to be a city it had to have a cathedral. Obviously I am way behind the times. However, I do remember Guildford Cathedral being built and watching while the golden Angel on top on the spire was airlifted into place! We also bought our wedding rings on a day visit there.
