I'd have to say my favorite Mustang ever is the 69-70 BOSS 302. There were better straight line performers in those days but the BOSS 302 was the total package

They took a Falcon and set a Mustang body on it. Didn't actually bolt from the corral.

Other than the P51 the Breed of Mustang horses were used on WW1 strong smaller horse that was able to work on the trenches
