We use 2 have one and he would eat about 3 chickens, a whole roast(7 pounds) and vegetables everyday. We had him fir 7 years and we put him down. He killed 2 dogs. We opened the gate and he ran out with in 10 seconds of opening it. Saddest day of my life.

Not really. They're big but not all that ferocious. They're simply wolf deterents. I've seen dogo argentinos destroy alabais. Besides big cats are on a totally different level. They'll take down a tiny asian wolf but a timber wolf would probably beat this alabai.
