A (series of) drone flight(s) along the Great Central Railway, from Brackley, past Radstone and Helmdon, over the Helmdon Viaduct, and along past Moreton Pinkney.

I've only just caught up with this video, it was fantastic. Quite a lot of the route looked walkable which is encouraging, great effort.

Thanks for the comments. I think quite a lot of it is private land now, and very little of it is public right of way, so down to the landowner. I know the bit between HS2's route and the Banbury/Syresham road is owned by somebody keen not to allow walkers :(. Other landowners are likely more accommodating :)

What a coincidence - I'm doing the same thing along all my old local railway lines.

Even though the railways were decommissioned over 50 years ago here, they have left a lasting impact on the countryside and still visible, leaving a great historical reference that can still be seen and appreciated today, even if parts have been reused for industrial units and so on. I shall keep an eye out for yours :)

Is this a recent drone video ? ,Route by helmdon seems very clear of undergrowth ,long to walk on old route ,great footage

The first section of footage, from just outside Brackley to almost the B4525, is from early 2021. From the B4525 to Moreton Pinkney is footage taken in early October 2021.
