People don't realise that when they get to this age it is so important to have people around that love them and they love them back. What this young lady and her pupper have done is give an aged woman a happier lease on life and a reason to get up every morning. This is absolutely beautiful❤💜
@Laura-kl7vi Жыл бұрын
At any age. It can be harder to keep up with friends when you're older, but she's obviously healthy and active. About half of these comments, though well meaning, make ageist assumptions about people's lives. She's not in a nursing home. She didn't need a 'new lease on life" or a "reason to get up in the morning" most likely. What assumptions! She lost her husband but most older women (especially) who are able to be active still have friends.

@@nmspyshe seems to have a very healthy bead on the fact that death is just another part of life. One of the best things anyone can do in life is to realize that death and dying is not to be feared but embraced; although we miss those we have lost it makes the time we had spent with them all the more valuable and teaches us that even if we end up with mementos willed to us by our loved one recently passed it does not bring their vibrancy back to this plane of existence. To learn to slow down, value and enjoy the time we get to share with our loved ones is such an important lesson to absorb and it is so heartwarming to witness this happening for Kernel’s new BGFF (Best Grandma Friend Forever 😊). May we all strive to foster and nurture relationships such as these in our lives; we never know how long they will last and every moment is sacred. Cheers everyone! 🖖😎👍
