No it isn't. That is a calf and the dog is being taught to hunt it (unintentionally). My cows would have chased and potentially killed a dog that tried that. Adult cattle, especially cows and heifers, are big, dangerous creatures who are naturally wary of dogs and will attack them even just for being in their paddock. This was a stupid thing to do - the dog should be taught to respect animals. It's dogs like that that get loose and end up killing a whole flock of sheep because 'play' very easily turns to 'hunt and kill'.

The cows going to get fed up from all the commotion and from the dog and attack. But apparently it"will never happen". I don't care if this is a weekly ritual and it's never happened yet. Cows can and will charge when provoked, out of no where. Or even run off trying to escape and breaking legs. Then the poor cow has to be put down. Or the cow charging the dog and killing it. But must be they're wanting to risk that because they're all standing around laughing thinking it's cute.
