Great Divide Ride - Stage 1 by Maschine

Great Divide Ride is an overland expedition for adventure motorcyclists following Australia's Great Dividing Range. The worlds longest mountain range in a single country and a significant watershed in the landscape.
Powered by Maschine this adventure saw over 70 riders tackle the first of three stages from Grampians Victoria to Hunter Valley New South Wales.
It took riders on challenging tracks and over the mountain ranges of Victoria's High Country and along the South Cost of NSW before crossing the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

1st off , sad to hear the loss of Paul. so young. 2nd what an awesome video adventure. were there any smaller cc bikes besides the DRZ400 ? any Tenere 700s ? or at least one Mighty KLR 650 in the group ?

Yep we had a couple of Tenere 700's in the group, an AJP PR7, heaps of Husqvarna 701's. A good mix.

We ran this edition of our Great Divide Ride in May 2021 so kind of right in the middle of COVID shenanigans. Actually we crossed over the Victorian border into NSW on this ride and they closed the border the very next day! We all made it out with less than 24 hours to spare! We didn't see many Victorians for like 12 months after that with ongoing lockdowns. One last outing of freedom for them! We are glad you think Nick still looks young there. He is happy to hear that!

When you uploading stage 2? You went right past the farm after a little town called Bowraville. I stopped one group for a quick chat. So for half a day I had to listen to bikes go past, and for every bike I had the feeling I wished I was with them.
