Great Egret Catches gopher

I really had to put the time in to catch this guy finally catching a gopher. I enjoy following it around. It is a very dramatic bird, very beautiful, a very good hunter.

Thanks. Yeah I always feel bad for the gophers but it really is part of the cycle of life and I think the birds really need that extra food to get ready for nesting.
