grew up in Great Falls, some good memories there. Couldn't wait to get out of Montana by the end of the 70s but I go back. Family... could end up back there eventually...

I'm 28 and lived in Great Falls my whole life. I'm typing on my computer from Great Falls, Montana. It really is a boring place unless you like nature- I'm not a nature gal. It's also a place for retired people to move to- lots of old people and teenagers, but the young don't stay around for long. Lots of military too.

I’m going to visit Montana in September unfortunately I won’t be going to Great Falls Montana I will be going to Hollow now because I have a friend that lives in Helena I do have a friend that grew up in Inn Great Falls well if I ever get to great Falls I’ll call down and she can take me around later this is Amy Sullivan

Looks like quite the little 'commune" some well-heeled, well-connected "middle class" folks have built up there. The WHOLE TOWN is on the National Register? That's got to be good for some serious "incentives" in the way of public funds.

No offense to great falls but I live in Montana and go to great falls a lot it is without a doubt the worst town in Montana

I lived in Great Falls from '84 to '90. My impression of the area was that it was a wonderful place for to hunt and to fish and to paddle and camp on the wild Missouri. For all that, Montana was a monumentally crappy place to have to work for wages or to live. State and local governments were basket cases of corruption, apathy, incompetence, and just general stupidity. The state legislature was always a clown circus. The state government was so awful that I recommended that, after the '89 Centennial blowout, it haul down the state flag, roll up the constitution, put them in some museum somewhere, and revert back to territorial status. Governor Stan Stephens was almost beyond belief. Great Falls was bad for policing for profit. The court of the dishonourable Judge Tucker was all about getting everybody's money and nothing else. The fuzzy old buzzard could not lie straight on a couch. GREAT FALLS SUCKS like a Hoover vacuum cleaner! Quentin Holt, Deplorable Thought Criminal (otherwise innocent as the driven snow.
