By the way, it's not the best mofongo... We invented it... It's ours... Está hecho con plátano (Plantain) verde... No maduro. Something you don't know... We make tiny mofongos without stuffing it to ad to some thick soups (Asopaos). By the way... We have lot's of places to visit and enjoy.

Personally my fave is the one made with the yuca basket that’s fried crispy and topped with the creamy garlic seafood. My mouth is watering! The tiny mofongos added to soups I didn’t know about. Espero regresar pronto a bella Puerto Rico! Saludos desde CDMX. 🌺🤩

@@ChinitaFoodTravel Next time try "Asopao de gandules with beef chunks and mofongo balls". Adopao is a thick soup usually made with rice. We make them of chicken, shrimps, bacalao and other flavors... The best with tiny mofongos are the gandules one or even the beans one. Also we make a kind of dumplins made with the same masa of pasteles or just green plantain grind and seasoned. This we call it "Bollito" and we serve it in the asopao or when we stew the gandules to acompain the white rice... It's another dish that can be serve with fried chicken or onion sauté beef thin steak or breaded thin steak. Our variety of food is bigger... Wide... Many combinations... Savory and of course... a delicious mix of our origins, all together.
