Yea!! Andrea Approved! Forester done good! I like the storage, I like that it has a nice sound system (I like listening to Pavarotti while looking over the Grand Canyon, I like the bathroom ("decent for the size"). I don't like that the bedroom doesn't have a door (that's a big one for me), but I realize it's small. I don't like the "puzzle piece" bed, I don't like the bunk. Viewers, I contacted Matts RV Reviews, and within 24 hours someone contacted me, searched for what I was looking for and connected me with a dealer that had the RV I wanted....then I changed my mind.....annnnnd, they were flawless. They looked everywhere and couldn't find the RV that I switched to. Took them about a half day to come up with what an amazing price on a custom order 2023 Entegra Odyssey 30Z. So if there is any doubt, Matts RV Reviews is the REAL DEAL. I religiously have watched Matt and Andreas videos of every RV that I have researched. What Matt and Andrea bring to the table is gold and their opinions about the various RVs are priceless.

Matt, the toilet wasn’t perfect but I could live with it👍The total dealbreaker for me is that uncomfortable dinette👎I’d much rather have theater seating, a portable table and a sensibly placed TV!!!

That split bed is comfortable! We've had one for 5 years, with Hubby's bad back. It's real memory foam. Easy to make, when the slide is in. AND the bed stays made, sliding in and out.

After watching many of Matt's videos on 25 footers on Mercedes chassis we chose this one. The storage both inside and outside is amazing. The dinette is really nice and the refrigerator is amazing. The bathroom and shower are fine for us and the puzzle bed is not perfect but workable. We did our shakedown trip last week and found only a few minor issues which the dealer will address. It is a dream to drive. I especially like having the adaptive cruise control. Backup camera works really great for back in sites and backing into our storage unit. Thanks for providing us with a great video that helped us make a good choice for our needs.

I think the interior is GREAT. The Cabover camper is perfect for a grandson/granddaughter. Big bathroom for the size, phenomenal U-shaped dinette.

Is the cab bunk smaller than the Winnebago NAVION? Its impossible to pick an RV these days as you have to order without ever seeing the unit. Videos like this sure help bridge the gaps.

An adult cannot sit up in the bunk. The mattress is almost queen size. Two windows for cross ventilation. In a pinch, bad rainstorm, you could sleep an adult couple up there.

I don't like the skimpy storage over the dinette. Those cupboards are really minuscule. Can't think of one thing to store in there other than a flashlight. I did like the cab setup. I always look at these reviews from a single perspective, so this would do for me. The one thing I really liked was all the outside storage!

I would rather have recliners and some kind of tray table. Let’s be honest...it’s a 2 Max motorhome so the need for a big dining set is rather overkill. 2 theatre seat option please! Love the cabinets and the storage! And the exterior color is gorgeous!

I would get rid of dinette and put theater seats or a sofa with a fold down arm rest then add the portable table. I am with Matt on the mattress. Most RV mattresses are hard and need to be replaced. You couldn’t do much with this one. The bed blocked the bathroom door which is awkward and I didn’t see if that lower drawer next to the bed could be opened with bed out. I loved the pantry area and the cabinets above the kitchen had shelves. Colors on the inside were light which made it feel more open. I like the overall length. It looked like the closet actually had good height so your clothes don’t puddle at the bottom.

This IS the unit I've been looking for. Slightly change the orientation of the toilet is my only dislike. Bunk over cab holding 440 pounds is perfect even if it is smaller, not crazy about the dinette (don't need it) but it is nice, and the layout is great!

Likes: Slam latch exterior doors, full body paint and Mercedes Benz dependability. Dislikes: Water connections should be behind a lockable cover, generator is under the bed, no tankless water heater, no ladder, and microwave under the counter.

Great review Matt & Andrea! This may be the only Mercedes RV I like. Not a fan of Mercedes chassis for the lower cargo capacity and the expensive service. Dislikes: 1. No roof ladder. If you’re not going to have an attached ladder (I’m going to be generous and assume that may be for security reasons) provide a U-Step, if for no other reason than Maintence. 2. That jigsaw puzzle mattress!?! Seriously, that can’t be comfortable. And I’m going to combo that with the bunk over the cab. Instead of a sleeping area, that would just be overflow storage and my cat’s hang out. (Matt I wish you would have swung out the TV arm. I couldn’t tell if it was a good view of the tv or not) 3. And Matt, you’re absolutely right. Just a small shift of the toilet would make that an excellent bathroom. Likes: 1. All that miscellaneous storage on the outside is an amazing use of space. And I’ll combo that with the excellent storage on the interior. The larger refrigerator is awesome. And Forester, I’m giving you a standing ovation 👏🏽 for the sliding pantry shelves! That’s such a simple thing but very current and something that all RV’s should do. 2. The U-shaped dinette,…with storage drawers. That’s a win/win. 3. The full body paint looks lovely.

Like the interior cabinet finishes, the fridge and pantry, don’t like there’s no place for a small coffee maker, the dinette, or toilet placement, and I would ditch the accordion door.

With diesel costing $1 more per gallon and the increased maintenance on the OM 642 the better MPG is a wash.

Somewhat - but the MB chassis is much more drivable, especially if you are tall. In my case the traditional vans dog house and limited leg room are a no go. Oh and that 7.3 will drink gas heavy when under a load. I’d take the VC30 with its 3.0 turbo diesel anytime. Or just wait a year for the new 2.0 twin turbo diesel coming. Not to mention the added safety features in the MB.

Matt's a professional pooper...nice one Andrea! May be too much information here, but exceeding at such a career goal. Very impressed with the Forester, however would focus on the 2401T (murphy bed) rather than the reviewed 2401B (puzzle bed) which would resolve that dislike and appears to have better bathroom layout (sliding entry door full access and toilet angle) resolving those dislikes. The only major dislike I have is the upholstery - the high contrast pipeing seems so dated despite the neutral valences. Great OCCC as equipped with heavy options and don't know how big a hit the murphy bed would impose but probably still keep it above 1000. Also, the price doesn't appear to have deleted some Mercedes functions that competitors in this price point with the smaller LCD screen do. At this pricepoint provides better value than Transits it competes with and a better choice of floor plans on a longer wheelbase providing more storage and space than Transits.

It's a really nice motorhome, but I'm not sure about the bed. You'd have to unmake the bed to move everything so it would slide, unless I'm missing something. Also, this isn't a Forester complaint but a general one I'm seeing in many units. What's with those little shelves at the upper side/head of the bed. They are irritating. I don't like a shelf by my head at all, at all, at all....

The CCC is terrible. After fuel and water weight you would be lucky if you could carry two people, food, clothes etc.. Lot's of storage and not enough CCC to carry much at all.

No roof ladder..why? Elcheepo 1960's doors on exterior. No solar, no battery storage, the main tv is inside a bunk bed coffin. Kitchen cabinets too small, bed is a disaster and your pillows will be against a window headboard. Sorry to be negative but yes, fire the toilet installer.
