Cracking route up on to Great Gable Andy! 👌must have been bloody frightening when you last was there in the depth of winter 😱 far better in the summer like conditions which ironic enough arrived in meteorological Autumn ! This really is another fantastic video, thank you very much. I have done Great Gable several times, on the last one in 2019 there were blue skies and light dusting of snow. The views you had bought all the memories back of that day, so thank you so much. I expect Scarfell etc were busy but the views you had to yourself are as good if not better, particularly when you look over at Wast Water. Thanks and keep these going, for those of us who only get to go a few times a year. Paul.

Wow! What a fantastic route. I haven't been up Gable this way so it was really enjoyable to watch this. That view from Westmorland Cairn as to be one of the best in the Lakes. Thanks for posting. EPIC!

Hey Andy, another superb film mate, great weather for it, especailly for us viewers. Fantastic drone footage, showed off the area superbly and couldn't take my eyes off it. I have seen this route before but not the way up to Great Gable that you did, obviously you don't do the norm LOL but that is what makes you stand out in my humble opinion. That looked a bloody difficult way up I must say so hats off to you fella, fantastic. Great explanation of the route and sound advice, stunning video quality. Thanks for sharing and take care.

Hi Andy, Boy was that beautiful, wonderfully green, think you said 2nd Sept so before the heatwave of last week. Don’t think I would have fancied the winter scramble you spoke of. On Friday 8th, it was 29 in Ambleside (felt like 34), then Sunday 53 mm of rain!! That’ll keep the grockles out of the hills for a day or so. Its up to Alcock tarn for us in the morning, hoping its not too much of an ant trail. Cheers Graham

Another terrific journey Andy. Your videos and so good to watch and the detail you share is so helpful. Even from the start of your video up to Grey Knotts, I wouldnt have known there was a much better and quicker path up to the summit. Id very much doubt Ill be trying that ascent of Great Gable but its a pleasure to watch and thoroughly enjoy the drone footage. Cheers once again!

It's a superb traverse path all the way from Windy Gaps North Traverse round to the Great Napes if you didn't want to Summit via one of the Gates the traverse continues all the way round to Styhead Tarn...thanks for watching buddy much appreciated ATVB Andy and The ROCK STAR ⭐

Hi Andy, I can't believe, but I was there the same day doing Base Brown, Brandreth and Grey Knotts. I started from Seathwaite and finished at Honister. My descent was the same as your ascent. It was a very hot day, I really struggled. I have to go back to do Green Gable and Great Gable. It was great to watch your route up Great Gable but it's definitely not for me. 😊
