Auxier Ridge is a extraordinary trail, beautiful vistas all around. I've stayed under stargap arch once during a thunderstorm and stayed warm and dry. Double arch is amazing. I never saw snakehead rock when I went there, I must have walked right by it! I recognized Courthouse rock on the thumbnail right away... Courthouse rock has a little gap on the side my friends climbed all the way on top of it but I was too chicken to follow them! Great memories there and love to see you living it up in the RRG!

Red River Gorge is a great place! I appreciate Rob pointing out that LNT is not a collection of rules. This is something I recently addressed in a video myself. Too many people use LNT principles as an excuse to berate others on social media.

Was there a rope at Cloud Splitter? I put one there about a year ago but someone took it. Lol. Those were some awesome spots you went to
@BryceHolbrook-yl7pt6 ай бұрын
@@BackpackingWithJason there was a portion of a rope in the seam and one on a pine tree. I have a pic of the rope looking up actually on my Instagram and FB account. May have been the same one if it hadn’t been replaced. Think it may have been a lighter color greenish rope. Took the best sunset pics I’ve ever captured there. Breathtaking.

Another great trip in the Red River Gorge... You are the best tour guide in that range. LNT sounds great, I was surprised on how much trash was there back in October. Our motto is... pack it in, pack it out. Pick up trash on trail, pays for the stay. Great video. Thank you for sharing. Take care Jason. 🇺🇲
