Also, if it gets loose, it will hinge against the bolt and crash the blade. Those little cut-off wheels explode when they break at those RPMs. I use them a lot, but don't think I will be doing hacks like this.

I've seen the comments how pointless the item is and interferes with the daily use, and being just a skill issue. however, this is a good attachment if you're ordered to make a big batch of a specific cut with only a hand grinder available. in third world countries, simple hacks like this helps during field work. some do cut cost in hiring skilled workers and having a simple attachment like this could allow delegation of simpler task to entry level workers making it efficient and labor cost effective.
