I also started adding older, traditional hymns at our small Church. "Old Rugged Cross" was the first one we brought back in January. Some of our older members have come to me and said "Thank You for playing our songs!" That meant the world to me, and confirmed we did the right thing. For years, these hymns weren't played at all at our Church, but now we do one at least twice a month! I highly recommend to other Worship Leaders to add these to your rotation...your older Members will thank you!

I love the fact you incorporate hymns into your worship. It seems silly to throw out hundreds of years of great songs. It's just as silly to ignore new songs because my generation (57) is not familiar with it.
